Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)

Administered by:

Eastern Carolina Housing Organization (ECHO)

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) was created to help renters dealing with financial challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. For eligible households, the program offers rental and utility assistance to help residents of Horry County avoid eviction and maintain housing stability.

The Horry County Emergency Rental Assistance Program application portal is currently closed.

Individuals and families who have already applied will still have an opportunity to receive assistance based on eligibility.
We will continue processing applications received prior to the deadline for as long as funds remain.
